pBR322 DNA, a standard plasmid for assaying supercoiling and relaxation activities, has been modified by TopoGEN scientists to improve utility with topo-based assays. We offer small to large quantities of this plasmid for those who simply want to assay a topoisomerase activity quickly and efficiently. We package the plasmid appropriately for use with small scale assays and large scale screening operations. We also prepare this DNA specifically for use by people in the field who are concerned about DNA topology and nicked DNA contamination. This substrate is especially nice for use with DNA gyrase and supercoiling assays. Thus, we offer the same volume amounts of relaxed as well as supercoiled plasmid DNA.
